Very good condition Donkey Kong arcade cabinet. Plays great. No side-art. $550.00.
No delivery, I'm near Sacramento, Northern California.

Minor, isolated wood damage along front bottom edge (not water damage, just chipped section). Minor nicks and scuffs, but overall in very good condition.

OMG! That poor Stargate next to it defiled!
-
No. Actually it was defiled when it was sitting, broken, in a garage for 10 years collecting dust. Now, it gets played frequently.
But thanks for your concern!
-
no, actually it's defiled now and that donkey kong is only worth $200
-
*sigh* Okay, you guys win. I'll just sell it elsewhere.
Never try to sell BYOACers an Apple Pie. You just get them yelling at you telling you Blueberry Pie is better.
*sigh........*
-
It's worth far more than 200 dollars. Pull and patch that security bar and you'll be in business. Selling it elsewhere is a good idea as well. Some folks wiggle their joystick and think that makes them pricing experts.
BTW- The Stargate IS defiled. But you should have seen how I hacked a Pac Man cab. Haw.

550 is a great price for that. I only wish you would consider delivery.

That's not the problem. The problem is they know where to get apples, pie crust and ingredients so they can make it themselves for cheaper. ;D

haha...wiggle my joystick.
i can sell donkey kong all day for $550 and make a very nice profit if anyone is looking for them in the midwest
-
You've got a case of the PM.
-
$550 is NOt a GREAT price. It's fair but by no means a "smoking deal".
The market has completely died for old games unless they are super rare.
-
$550 is NOt a GREAT price.
It's supply and demand.
I cant find anything in my area.
Donkey Kong is/was the first game I ever got hooked on.
So to me, $550 IS a great price. It seems like in other areas of the country, these types of games are more plentiful and cheaper.
I live in a rural area. I had a guy try to sell me a Mortal Kombat 2 that has a non working monitor for $500 and I (briefly) considered it.
Appreciate your opinion though, no really.

550 isn't too bad. Beings as everyone is throwing their 2 cents in. If it was me I would remove the lock bar patch the holes and throw some repro sideart on it. I think you could get quite a bit more then.
-
I bought a DK Jr. for $100. I filled in holes, repainted it ,added new side art, t-molding and gave it a cap kit. I am in it about $160. I have been offered $700 for it. It looks so nice now I can't bear to part with it.
I bought it to help pay for my first pin..... Still waiting to buy the pin.
-
Too far away for me to be a buyer, but $550 sounds fair enough to me. I'm still waiting for a DK to show up fr sale in my area.

I'm in w/Stingray.
I spend hours playing DK in my local grocery store. If this was near me $550. seems fair.

Sold it on eBay for $720!

Congrats! I guess Melidian didn't get around to poisoning your ebay auction like he did your thread! :-X

They actually did me a favor, I would not have considered putting it on eBay so quickly, had they not been needlessly negative about it.
They made me an additional $170! Perhaps I should send them a commission check...

No suprises here. It's one of the all time greats and the cab is definitely in above average condition. Congrats on the sale.

Perhaps now Melidian will decide to put some of those $200 DKs up on eBay and earn big bucks ...
::)
Cheers.
