Title: For Sale Xbox 360
Post by: Jilldo33 on November 23, 2005, 09:24:21 pm
Yep thats right I have an xbox 350 for sale.  My brother and I both waited at Best Buy over night so we have 2.  If anyones interested in purchasing one PM and we can discuss price.  They're going for $800+ right now on ebay.  I have picks if needed and 100% eBay feedback.  Thanks for looking.

Jill

no rush, got 5000 games to play with. I'll wait till March or April/June and it should be around $100.00 at GameStop etc....    ;D
Heck, Maybe I'll just wait  till summer and look around at garage sales  :o

somebody said the quality control on these was sux. meaning they will probably have the same problems the first xbox had. i've already seen some people complaining about broken faceplates and other parts just because of the rush to meet the demand. :D

LOL....$800??  suckers!

I saw several go for $1600+ on eBay yesterday, and looking at the history they were twice that before then...  If they're down to $800 today, that's a big improvement.  With gaming being as mainstream as it is nowdays, there's never any shortage of people with more money than sense who have to have the latest and greatest.  With the companies seemingly deliberately limiting supply of new consoles at launch, it seems that a new console on launch day is one of the safest investments you can make.

If it were me, though, I'd either get it up on eBay ASAP before the price goes any lower, or take my chances, hope the shortage continues through Christmas, and eBay in a couple of weeks for last minute Christmas delivery.  I doubt that any forum is going to fetch the kind of price one could expect on eBay - due to limited exposure, among other things.

But on the other hand, I hear that nullb0y is looking for a 360 - maybe someone should send him a link to this thread.  ;D

I'd put it up on ebay as a 3-day auction with a $500 minimum bid.

There is a quick video and some forum links re: crashes here:
