Sweet....
-
I think there is something wrong with it. All features work EXCEPT the actual shelling of the exe. I know this because he uses dk as an example in his tutorial (so obviously he tested the app with it) and it won't shell dk. I haven't tried anything else, because, quite frankly I don't use anything else.
Can someone confirm for me?

When you set it to the DragonKing exe, does it make a registry string at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon called Shell with the value "[PATH]\DragonKing.exe"?
-
I have no clue... I would have to check later on...... but it wouldn't be "DragonKing.exe" it would be "The Dragon King.exe" which I think might be what is throwing it off. I know that the registry key should support spaces, but the question is, does this app.
-
I'm betting it is the spaces too. It's amazing how many things in XP still need to adhere to the 8.3 format.
-
The spaces shouldn't matter since the default is now "C:\Program Files\GameEx\GameEx.exe" which has a space in it.
-
Does this program do the same thing which we manualy to edit in registry.
btw It is not for windows98.
