Title: MAMEWAH & GENSFE (games naming issues)

HELLO,
need some advice. acquired (ahem) many DVDs of games for various platforms roughly 3 years ago.

Ive really only bothered with Mame (Mame32) until now..... so been trying to get a couple of emulators working with mamewah the past few days. Ive trawlled through the forums - which helped me setup gensfe, Mame and Mame into-movies.

My question is:
my games list is fine and readable in Mame, but in gensfe - the list has doubles/treblers etc..... and the names read like eg. addamsfamily_the_beta__2_J_6 etc. Is this normal?? I was gonna get a newer set of Roms for the ones i have - but thought i would check this out first!!!

There are numerous versions/dumps of console games (just like MAME, but generally less organised).  So yes, it is normal.
