Title: Mamewah sound effects

I have enabled sound effects within Mamewah. (v1.6.0.1)  The problem is when Mamewah starts up the sound effects don't work.  I have to exit and then restart Mamewah for the sounds to work.  The same is true for ZNESW.  No keyboard commands work for this emulator when Mamewah first loads.  I have to exit then restart.

Any suggestions?
