Yes, it's a removable hard top, no I don't think it will make it to Melborne, and that's $25,000, ya knucklehead.

If I were ever to buy a classic car to cruise in, that would be it.  Removable hard tops rule.  Does it have the standard convertible cloth top/frame too?

Both tops are there and both are in excellent shape, as is the rest of the car.

If I've done my math correctly, your $25k should net you 714.28571 KeyWIZ maxes before shipping and all applicable taxes.

That will come in handy for your MAME hobby.

Yeah. My original post was a stab at Stingray's unwillingness to post in another forum. It was supposed to be funny/obvious, but I lack skill in those 2 areas. :-\

Hell no, I'm the master of funny/obvious.

But you always say your the master of Seph's mom. You obviously cannot be the master of more than one thing.
Title: Re: Anybody wanna buy a 1955 T-Bird?
Post by: ChadTower on November 18, 2005, 03:47:24 pm

A person capable of mastering more than one thing would never say that.

So at this point you have mastered 2 things:

1. Seph's mom
2. Obvious wit

Profound Achievements Galore :o

I had some help from Stingray, too.

Chad has also Mastered the art of Bating...

bating

A process which is usually defined as "reducing" or "removing." The basic purposes of DELIMING and bating are to remove calcium hydroxide (or other alkali) from the skin, to lower pH, and, of great importance, to treat the skin substance with proteolytic enzymes so as to obtain desired grain appearance in the finished leather. Bating also serves to impart softness, stretch, and flexibility to the leather, while at the same time providing the basis for a clean, smooth grain by loosening scud consisting of hair roots, pigment materials and grease. It also eliminates all traces of the firm, plumped, and swollen state of the skin induced by the alkaline unhairing liquors by bringing the skin into a soft, fallen condition. Today bating is employed mainly in tanning light leathers, such as those used in bookbinding, where drape, flexibility, and softness of handle are of primary importance.

JIC you don't know what the H this is...

It's the scud loosening that Chad really excells at!

(man I so have not mastered typing)

Wow. That looks like it's in nice shape. Any idea what # it is? My dad has a black '55 T-Bird that is #37 off the assembly line. Though, we only have the '56 porthole top.

Still the original 6 volt, or converted 12 volt?
