Title: Qnic CGM-2500 monitor..need help
Post by: arcadepcnut on January 25, 2003, 09:28:14 pm
Im just full of questions today. I hope you can help.

I have a neogeo cabinet with a 25" RCA tube. The circuit board mount says QNIC model number CGM-2500

This monitor is getting 120 volt in. I checked it. The fuse has continuity. But the tube does not glow or appear to be getting any power. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this or is this nice big monitor garbage?

If you can help me get it going. Its a four cartridge neo geo cabinet. I'll give you one of the game cartridges in it. Your choice...if you want one that is.

Zanen Electronics has a cap kit for this monitor (kit # 605) now. Since your fuses are not blown you have a good chance that a capkit may fix it.
