Title: Leinenkugel's Apple Spice Beer
Post by: DrewKaree on November 15, 2005, 09:02:29 pm: I kept driving past the billboard, and had to try it.

Halfway through the first one, it started to taste....different. Not as good as the other half had tasted.

Today, I'm having a second one, and this one is going down QUITE nicely, thank you very much!

I wonder if this is what people think of the Berry Weiss the first time drinking it?

I'ma hafta go to Outback this weekend. The wife believes they have it on tap, and she found it to be quite good. If not, I may have to buy another sixer to replace the one that will be gone.

I tried berry, eh. I prefer honey.

I tried Lakefront's pumpkin just before halloween. From the tap it's awesome. From bottle is sucks. Poured into glass from bottle is decent. Too bad that day a new girl was the tour director and we think the staff played a practical joke on her. None of the kegs in the brewery were filled, so no beer while on tour :(

Been there. It's WAY nicer than the Miller tour, and it definitely DOES taste better right at the brewery. I'm researching a way to run a line to my house, but I have a feeling in the summertime, it's gonna take an awful long time to get the hot beer out of the line. ;)

If'n ya don't feel like driving that far, we can head over by ShapeD. I dunno if we can see the Capitol brewery, but we sure as heck can suck down a few and heckle the guy on stage playing gee-tar in a dress ;D

I can picture that being a cool tour to take, but only with earplugs, in case I have to listen to lefty tripe. Oh, and you don't actually MEET Ben and/or Jerry, do you? Because that would totally ruin it for me ;)
