Sega Genesis AVI Game Previews

This is the US Set of Game previews for the Sega Genesis. I captured all images using KGEN, so any games that didn't seem playable were not captured.
The previews consist of a sampling of gameplay and then the title screen. Some are as short as 15 seconds and some are longer than 2 minutes. It just depended on the game and what I felt needed to be captured in order to achieve a good sampling. Remember MameWah and 3D Arcade frontends loop the avi files so I kept that in mind when ripping.
Use in frontends such as MameWah, 3D Arcade or GameEX.
Samples will be located at www.emumovies.com as soon as I can get them up.
You can download the free DIVX decoder at www.divx.com, make sure that you disable the divx logo in the decoder's settings for best results.
Personal Note:
This is my biggest release to date and it sure did take a long time to get done. I would like to apologize to everyone who may have thought that I dissapeared. It has been a very busy 6 months professionally, but I am still in the game. And the website getting hacked and losing the message board just made me almost want to quit. I will be diving right into another set so hopefully things will pick up. Thanks to everyone who has been supportive since I started this little project and I hope you all enjoy this latest EMUMOVIES release!!!

Silver you have to forgive me as I have been seriously out of touch with everything the last six months. What are these guys doing with mame movies? If anyone has anything going I would love to collaberate!

I was wondering if someone could seed the old NES and SNES previews, I am partially downloaded for both of them and I have been on for about at week with no action.

I have them on my arcade. If you tell me how I can seed, I would be more than happy to. I am currently using bittornado.

then they are making short HQ clips with sound that start in some gameplay and show a bit of the title....
They are hand-edited I believe, so can't be reproduced automatically, but are looking popular as its easier than making all your own and doesn't take so much space... (compared to detecting and creating the full attract sequence).

Just a word of fair warning to anyone grabbing the Sega Genesis set from [romsite name redacted]...
Its a great site, but be aware they run an enforced upload/download ratio scheme, so if you just join the torrent, leech the set and leave, they will ban your account and your IP, so I strongly suggest leaving it seeding until you get at least a 1:1 ratio.
It sounds a bit harsh depending on what your used to, but they've sure had the "no seeders" problem licked for a loong time.

Which is why I usually place the torrent there first, truth of the matter is I can seed it there and it will stay healthy for a couple of months vs days at some other sites. After they run out of steam over at [romsite name redacted] I will usually reseed at [romsite name redacted] else but it never stays up for long. The only exception is the nintendo sets because [romsite name redacted] does not allow anything from the big N. So those go straight to [romsite name redacted].
One positive note I have been doing the console sets side by side with the mame set and after seeing the other Mame movies being done i figured that's good enough and I will focus just on the consoles and get them done. I am already about 40% with the next release. ANd will probably re-release some of the older smaller sets because the quality has been so much better with the new capture process I have been using since the SNES set.

I cant seem to get onto the site and register to grab the torrent for these. could someone pm me a direct link to the torrent or set a torrent download up for me on yousendit or something? (the torrent file and not obviously all of the avis!!)...

The link circo has on his site appears to be to an incorrect page. Copy the link from his site (www.emumovies.com (http://www.emumovies.com)) and remove the "/index.php/" from the end to get to the site correctly.
I'm not linking directly as I'm not sure of the rules here about linking to sites.
However, you must register with them before you can see the torrents. They record all usage of the torrents to stop leeching, so you must be prepared to upload.
I well recommend it, so long as you are happy to keep uploading, as they have a large range of files, all emu related.

I'm super-late on this one, but could anyone re-seed these? I'm getting 2 k/b per second from one seeder. I have 57.3% and plenty of upload available if anyone wants to start out.

I am trying to download the mastersystem avi's first but I keep getting the following error message:
ERROR: Bad data from tracker
I have left it on - but it is still connecting to peers after 6 minutes, is this normal?
As i live on a univerisy campus i am happy to seed as i have unlimited bandwith and super speeds.

Well I don't know what is up but I cannot connect to any trackers who are seeding any avi movies :'(
It keeps saying bad data from tracker - and is connecting to peers for hours ???
Its a shame because the movies are a nice finish to the cab.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm up to about 80% now and am seeding both the complete MameVids set and what I have from this set, although I don't see any takers at the moment.

Can you use any other torrents? Have you checked www.portforward.com?
