Title: Personal advertisement
Post by: shmokes on November 13, 2005, 10:27:04 pm
Hey, everyone.  I have a friend in the military who was deployed to the south to help deal with Katrina.  He's running a blog called Camp Katrina ( www.campkatrinablog.com ) dedicated to showcasing the humanitarian side of the U.S. Military.  For the most part it's a liberal bashing propaganda page, but people can leave comments at the end of each of his posts tearing them apart.  One thing that sets his blog apart is the time and energy he puts into it, with updates and new posts coming throughout the day, all day, every day.  But that's not what makes me care about it enough to plug it here.

My reason for posting is that he's asked me to do a weekly column on the page, to add a liberal voice to his extremely one-sided blog.  I've agreed to do a column every Monday, starting tomorrow (well, tonight, technically.....seeing as it's already posted).  Anyway,  check it out, and feel free to leave scathing comments tearing apart my arguments. (http://www.campkatrinablog.com)  My column is called Jake Moses Mondays, and my first post is titled "Bush: Only I Can Rewrite History".

At the very least it's a great blog for Drew, DD, Fredster, MarkVP and JackTucky to bookmark on the strength of my posts appearing only once a week compared to the constant barage of conservative spin that characterizes the blog.

Good stuff, though.

Oh, and how come you used that picture?  The one with you in a towel and a green mask is a WAY better representation of how we view you.
