Title: Wells Gardner U3100
Post by: JONTHEBOMB on November 12, 2005, 11:37:23 pm
Hello,

I am thinking about purchasing a U3100, for my cabinet.  From what I have read these monitors are excellent for arcade games.
I'm wondering if newer games (like Red Alert 2) look alright on these monitors and are playable?
Also, is windows even useable with these monitors?
About 95% of the time I plan to be playing arcade games on my cabinet, but I would like to play some PC games on my cabinet too.

Thanks

After doing a more extensive search, I have read only good things about the Wells Gardner U3100.  So, I will probably end up getting one.  Now I have to decide to go with either a refurbished one ($225) or a new one ($350).

What is the average life of a Wells Gardner monitor?
(I would hope at least 5 years.)

I have a WG K7197 25" that is still going from 1991, a few problems but very fixable.
