Title: Where is Pos+ 5 volts on PS Game Pad?
Post by: SomeDude on November 12, 2005, 01:10:40 pm
Someone told me that in the set of wires that leads to the game pad the Red wire is the +5 volts I need to hook up the P360 made by Happ. When I checked it with my meter it was only 3.5 volts. I read somewhere else that it NEEDS to be 5 volts in order for the stick to work correctly. Anyone know where the right voltage is?

How can I use an external power source? Dont I need to use the ground wire from the pad to the negative wire on the joystick so that the up/down/left/right to register and work right? How do I use a transformer? Should I just show the dude at radio snack what I want to do and he will know how to help me? The stick I have is about 1 year old and Ive never hooked it up. I never used a transformer before.Sorry...
