Title: Request for favor...
Post by: ChadTower on November 10, 2005, 03:29:51 pm

I'm not up on Illustrator and alas don't have a ton of spare time right now to learn it with the great tutorial everyone here is using.

I'm working on a website for my football team but they have almost no preexisting web usable artwork.

Could someone do me a huge favor and vectorize this simple logo?  It would give me something concrete to start with...

Thanks if anyone is willing, shouldn't take long at all for a skilled person, and I'd definitely owe you one.

You have over 9000 posts. You seriously need to stop posting in "everything else"

Awesome.  Thanks, I'll remember that if I can help you out some time.  Just curious, though, why is it in PDF?

Would it be possible for you shoot me the source as well?

And heh on the EE, I do post a lot in the other forums too, but yeah, most of those are EE.

It's an illustrator file. Illustrator's native format is PDF. So it is the source. If I explicitly changed the extension to .pdf, then I could post it to the board. Feel free to change the extension to .ai if you want to open it easy.

Oh!  Thanks... that shows you how out of date my Illustrator knowledge is... I don't remember it being PDF, it was only AI last I remember, if I even remember correctly...

...much appreciated.  I just managed to snag a copy of Illustrator myself, so hopefully sometime before 2006 I can run through the tutorial everyone here uses.
