Just curious...
-
How bout adding 'Will be buying it sometime soon' so I got something to click on.
-
Because those people will probably never do it. It's been out how long now?
What made me curious is thinking about the cost of hosting this forum, and how most of the bandwidth is taken up by us whoring around EE... and that's got to be costing Saint some money.
-
Worth every penny, and at least 13 pennies more.
-
Also add, "I'm waiting for Bosss7 to buy it so I can steal it out of his car while he's off taking a pee-pee on some guy's back porch".
Edit: Chad is just about to work up enough guilt for me to order a copy.

maybe if we all buy a book, Saint will turn the post count on again.
-
or maybe saint could start doing this.
Charging for accounts at BYOAC forum. (http://www.enworld.org/subscriptions.php?)

Bought it to support Saint, but haven't really opened it or checked out the CD. Bought it right after it hit the shelves at B&N.

I bought it, and then broke the damn CD in two!
Grumble Grumble...

The book is what brought me to the site. I was here a few times from google searches but after I got the book I decided to become a member............
-
dont own it, built my machine well before it came out and i dont need to know anything from it =P
-
Got the book online. My first cab is the Project Arcade, about 80% done.
-
Bought it last year at Barnes & Noble retail.

I think this thread is starting to reveal who the real slackers are.

I accidentally came across the concept of building a cab when I discovered the cabinet web ring. Interest grew and I clicked a BYOAC link on one of the pages and up popped a picture of the Project Arcade book. I really had no idea what BYOAC was even about.
Only about 5 minutes elapsed from the first BYOAC mouse click and I had already ordered it. I didn't even bother to investigate the contents of the book.
That simple spontaneous book purchase has now cost me 4 grand and numerous sleepless nights but regardless, I find myself living in the hope there is a second book in the works.....

The illustrated cheesecake deluxe edition is being worked on now . . .

Not a dime actually - rather, the amount of bandwidth use isn't exceeding my limit. The server plan I have gives me quite a generous bit of bandwidth to play with. Not that I don't appreciate the thought :)

Just think, there is a section of post hell that is like the teachers drawer...filled with all the cheescake that got confiscated.....I think it is the best argument for becomming a mod
-
I would like 24 hours to spend in post hell
-
I'm surprised noone mentioned that he built his own Project Arcade book. At least one ;)
-
Getting one next week. I'm lost building a cab from scratch

I bought the book, used from Amazon. I was, and still am collecting books about Video gaming. Saw a small article for the Devastator II in Maxim over a year ago, and that started my interest and search.

Whenever I find myself straying from the flock, I'll pick up the good book again for some dramatic renewal of purpose.
