i have nearly built a mame arcade machine with a pc, can anyone tell how to get picture to turn 180 degrees for player 2 i am using windows mame 32

When in a game is running. Tab-Dip switches- cabinet and set to Cocktail. You have to do this for every game. Note: Not all games will rotate.
There may be a Tool to change this in bulk, but that may require a special compile.
Have Fun~!!!

some other setting are not UPRIGHT-COCTAIL some are A B C, you just need to try each one. Don't forget to RESET after change.

Just to state outright what's implied in the other answers:
Mame will not rotate for player2 unless the original arcade game did.
There are some devives of mame that can display two screens on the monitor: one for player 1, the other flipped for player 2, but both are displayed all the time, split screen like.

Also, if you have your monitor setup vertically you will want to use autoror or autorol to ensure player 1 is always on the same side.
