Title: can i unplug my keyboard from x-arcade build your own controls set

im using the x-arcade build your own controls set, can i remove my keyboard so it isnt lying around on top of my cocktail cabinet, i unpluged it but the controls dont work

You want the usb adaptor.No keyboard required.

how does that work then, does the board plug into the pc via this usb adapter??

Ya, for the X-Arcade Dual that I have, you need to plug a keyboard in the back, but I just took a really old one apart for the matrix and stuck it in back there.

I used the controler board from an X-Arcade Dual (mainly for its console compatibility) to build my Control Panel.  I use the USB adapter for it and you do not need to plug in a PS/2 keyboad into the back of X-Arcade.  In fact, I have a regular USB keyboard plugged in for typing, etc...
