I installed the software to program the I-Pac and now I have to run that app when windows starts or the driver will not load? What did I mess up?
Thanks

Without knowing specifics on your setup, my first guess would be this take off of Ultimarc's website:
Problem: (USB Only) Board appears not to work until WinIPAC is run every time. Yellow exclamation marks in Control Panel, Device Manager.
This is a rare problem, and is caused by a registry error. It is suspected that this problem occurs if the board is regularly swapped from one USB port to another, or different board versions used on the same PC. The fix involves registry editing, the usual caution should be observed.
Run regedit, and open Hkey_Local_Machine/System/CurrentControlSet/Enum/HID and delete the keys containing VID D209 Also Hkey_Local_Machine/System/CurrentControlSet/Enum/USB and delete the same keys. You might have to right-click and set permissions to do this. Unplug and re-connect the board.

:-X oops ... should have look there.
Thanks I'll try that tonight

I had the same problem after swapping out two different I-Pacs so it was an easy answer. Editing the registry solved the problem right away. Good luck.

I recently had the same problem, but after moving my USB plug to the first USB input on my motherboard, it solved the problem. For some reason it did not like the second port???
Thanks Hoopz for the answer to my question too.

Glad to help. And I didnt try moving the plug to a different port. I will keep that in mind if I have this happen again. Thanks.

I'll try that before the reg edit and see :)

I don't know why that works???
I now have my iPac4 plugged into my PS2 port as it is the only way I can have a space bar assigned key turn my arcade system on automatically. When in USB mode my Asus P3BF MB won't let the space bar assigned key start my computer. I guess it's just another funky feature of my MB??
All is well though and everything works great. I am very happy with the iPac4, Happs 3" trackball and Slikstik spinner setup.
