Title: real universal mr do?
Post by: SirPoonga on October 31, 2005, 09:35:35 pm
Is this the right cabinet for the universal mr do?
The game is the universal one.  But that doesn't look right.  The bezel is odd.

The color scheme seems arkanoid form klov pics.

Hahaha...  Taito != Universal.

That cab was a Qix. (The bezel is still original Qix)

Here is the color scheme for Taito cabinets.  Helps identifying them.

yeah, I know universal isn't taito, but taito licensed the game to universal.  Wasn't sure if it was like double dragon II that was licensed to romstar (but the cabinet has romstar and technos all over it).

I kne wthe marque wasn't mr do, that's obvious.  I take it then the control panel is just generic.

What makes you say the marquee is not original?

Control panel, yeah most likely generic. And hey, you've got a Pac-land button on there!  :D

I meant to say bezel, not marquee.

It's not mine, it's my friend's dad's.
It's cool, he wired a lightswitch just for the cabinet.  You walk down the stairs, flip the switch, start playing the game :)

So are you going to restore this sucker to Qix?
