As far as scary movies, Amityville Horror scared me when I was a kid. I remember seeing it at a drive in.

ah yea, chucky scared the f out of me.  i had this dream that i cut him up into little pieces and shipped him off to japan.  2 weeks later a package arrived from japan with that bastard inside.

leatherface looks like a big my buddy doll there.

I am not a fan of horror movies but as for a scary moment - In The Evil Dead when they find the tape recorder and play the recording of the demonic incantations.

It was a combination of the voice on the tape and the way the forest was filmed.

I can't find the pic I want, Jeff Combs with the little worm growing out of his forehead, but the Reanimator is a classic I have not seen in a loooooonnnngggg time.
