Title: what are these playstation controllers for?

the box at the computer parts store had "Hotel Controllers" written on it in magic marker, but not even the owner of the store new what they were or where they came from...

If i remember correctly, you could plug them in and order PS games to your hotel room..

Betcha they're simply standard PS1 controllers with custom cables that are meant to connect to a hotel's distributed wiring system. You can probably cut those RJ-45 heads off and rewire to a standard controller port interface.
