Non-working.

Grr.  If I had a vehicle right now I could move it in, I'd be all over that.  Babypac is right near the very top of my longterm wantlist.

Hey, you're closer than I am, right?

Want to get it and house it until I can get down there?

Hrm... see, I'm like 7 hours away and there is NO resources for me to rent a truck and make that drive right now.  I'm in the process of trading that mega VF2 for a regular cab and still have to rent the truck to do that.

I e-mailed the guy and told him I'm interested, if one of you guys is closer though, you definatly can have it.

Easy, Rent a Minivan, lie and say you're keeping it in state.  Drive it up there get it, come straight back.  $40 and you've got the cab.

$40 + about $80 in gas + 15 hours of driving.

Well, there is also the "no more cabs until more of them work" edict from my wife, which came about a year later than it should have.  There's too much to do on my house to get another right now... sigh.  Another BabyPac will come along, or some other member here will snag this and I can snag it from them in a few months.

so you get a $120 baby pac.  Then you have me here and I have 2, 1 working 1 not, with recreated CPO and sideart on the way.  as far as artwork I can help you through anything you need.  i've done a decent ammount of work on mine.  and I WANT you to get one.  I LOVE that game, and think other people should have it too.  :)

c'mon!

I did email, but two days later on that list, there is a TAKEN message for the cab.

Oops, I didn't see that  :-[.

I got all excited and came right here to post it up.  I didn't think it would last long.  If it was anywhere near me I would have pulling it in a wagon if I had to.

Well, a lot of people post the TAKEN when they actually should be posting a PROMISED... it's not uncommon to see TAKEN followed by "the person didn't take it, REOFFER".

Yeah, a Baby Pac is concrete in my long term keeper plans, just haven't come across the right one yet.

yeah theres very few dedicated classic cabs i would care to own, mainly cause a game like say Galga would get boring pretty quick. but the pinball/video combo is just nuts. ive seen one in person but it wasnt working =(

I'd love to have one too, but it's not even remotely close to me.

I bid on one at an auction last year, but it went to like $625 and my pocket only had $350 in it.  It was in challenged cosmetic shape, but at least everything worked enough that you could get it playing well in a few days of TLC.

I'm curious what our secret source would want for the needs-much-work Baby Pac he's got in his secret location.

He said it wasn't his, that he had it for someone else and was going to return it unrepaired since every board in it was dead.

Ah, that's right.  I stop paying attention to conversation when I'm surrounded by relatively cheap arcade games.

It's like a strip club where the strippers come home with you and never say anything dumb.

Strippers say things?  Hmmm...
Anyway, do you actually like the gameplay on a Baby Pac?  From what I remember it wasn't much fun once the novelty of the first game wore off.

Yeah, if you're not into pacman and pinball specifically, I could see it getting old.

I could see having a BabyPac standing between a Pac and a Ms Pac.  That would be kind of cool.

It's worse when you figure he uses his socks to wipe off the frosting.

no man i really used to, it was great you didnt have to get dressed right away and go across the hall for tissues or something. but i recently switched to all black socks, since i dont wear white shirts i can now do all my laundry without separating whites lol. but yeah i cant do it now with the black socks

I figured, been there, you just REALLY have to remember to put them into the laundry before you pass out... or you forget and they stay in the middle of the floor.
