Do you guys think that a reunion Joystick will work well for a dedicated Donkey Kong? My joystick on that machine sux. Maybe I just need to pull apart the original and tweak it or something.
Thanks,
Cameron

Those Nintendo joys always sucked, even new.

I agree with RayB about the Nintendo joysticks. I have yet to see an old DK machine that doesn't have a broken joystick.
I think the Happ Reunion would be a good stick to replace it with.
Tornado Terry has a mounting plate that will mount a reunion stick directly to a DK CP.

What I meant was that even back in the day when the joystick was new, it still felt lousy. You can pull up on it. That's really annoying.

Thanks for the advice. I will order one of the reunions and the mounting plate.

btw, ponyboy is selling them for 15 bucks on the buy/sell/trade board.
great joystick!

What are you doing with the old DK stick??? Even though it sucks, it is what I am used to. I need one for a wooden CP. Mine came from a metal CP and is too short. So..... if you are just going to get rid of it LMK.
Thanks, Patrick
P.S. Do you have any extra blue and orange buttons?

Well it might take me a couple weeks to get around to purchasing the joysticks and a couple more weeks until I swap them out. When I do, I will keep you in mind. I can't stand my current DK stick.

IMHO, the "Reunion" joystick plays well on a DK...I always thought the origanal DK sticks were "clumsy"
