Title: which forum? Project Announcements, or Consoles?

Do all projets get posted in the project announcements forum?

I'm wondering cause I'm doing one of those dreamcast/NES mods and I want to post it.

I would say a mod or something that is short in the time it would take to complete would determain where it goes... and there IS a console section.

I'm basically building one of these (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=32940.0;all).

It's not exactly a "quick" modification.  But that link is in the consoles forum, so that's why I'm confused.  I guess I could just flip a coin.

well if you put it in the wrong forum a Mod will just move it to the right one. then the problems solved.

post it in the Software forum then a Mod will definately move it to the correct one for you.....

IMO it should go in the Consoles section. The Projects forum is for projects related to Saint's book "Project Arcade" (again IMO).

I think Project and I am the masses  :P.

It's more than just a console mod.  If it was chipping or something, I'd say the console section, but this is a full gut/replace project.

I would say console, because it would probably just get ignored by most in the project announcement section.

At least in the console section, it would be in a section where others might actually have an interest in it.


It can then be moved later if deemed to be to off topic.
