Title: Hacking the Imperial Trackball with mouse buttons!
Post by: J-Rod on October 26, 2005, 06:10:51 pm
Here's what I accomplished today, I was tired of having to use the keyboard on my lap and futzing around with other buttons, so I took a trip to the Shack and got myself some buttons. I wish they kinda had a bit more play, they are a little stiff. Other than that, I am pleased. Let me know what you think!

Can anyone recommend a decent way to get these mouse buttons to register as keypresses MAME can recognize? Hopefully something easily switchable, as I like to play Hamsterball as well, and that one needs those buttons to work like a normal mouse. TIA -JC

As long as the buttons wired up to the mouse buttons you should have no problems mapping the buttons in MAME. They will just be mouse buttons 1 and 2.
