Nintendo-sized carriage bolts for a steel CP; or the dimensions of the bolts so I know what to ask for at a hardware store?
Nintendo-sized buttons for a steel CP; or a clean and easy way of enlarging the holes to accept standard-sized buttons?
The big blue mushroom button (KO punch button) on a Punch-Out CP? Was this an off-the-shelf part at one time or was it custom designed and manufactured for/by Nintendo?

They are metric.

They are also made to metric standards and are slightly small than regular buttons. I use a Greenlee knockout punch from Home Depot to punch the hole to normal button size. Then you can use any button/color you want. The Greenlee punch is the one made for 3/4" electrical conduit fittings (28.2mm punched hole size).

Probably a special button made for that game.

Yikes.
ArcadeShop.com sells the Nintendo size carriage bolts. I accidentally ordered some a couple years ago. I have no use for them. How many do you need? PM please.

That's what I was thinking, though they do sort of look like those "emergency stop" buttons you see on machinery sometimes.
I wish someone would repro that part. Is Specialty Plastics still around? Some of their pages still work but the main page doesn't seem to. That guy had reproductions of the original Nintendo buttons; I'm sure he could make the big blue KO button as well.

Maybe you could get one of these in blue:

But I would just be patient. A button will turn up on Ebay eventually.
