Okay, I am not so hot at the vector... but here's my attempt this evening at making a logo for the J-Rcade. Flame away. It's pretty plain at the moment compared to alot of stuff people put on the cabs, but I am thinking something I could mount into a half sphere resin cast, drill a hole in the box, and mount it in there, with a bright white LED behind it. I'd likely drop that large sphere gradient in that case. Flame away!

-edit- Just realized this didn't go in the artwork forum, I am sure a mod can move it to the proper home at some point.

I like it, I'm a fan of minimalist stuff, my only question is what are you gonna print it on that is both a) see thru for the light and b) able to bend into a half sphere?

Oh, it's not going to bend at all really. It's not done yet, I need to snazz it up a bit, but yeah, it'll be way minimal by arcade logo standards. :) As far as the half sphere, think of those paperweights with stuff inside them. The half sphere will be a solid resin cast, and the logo gets pasted on the bottom, and then gets mounted so that the logo shows through the curved/convex side. As far as paper to print on, I think maybe a translucent sheet will do, I used one for a poem I printed for my first anniversary, and used it to overlay some parchment backing. It came out pretty nice, and when I had held it to a light it let alot through.

Ohhhh Gotcha, I was imagining like a half sphere shell. For just a solid piece, you wont have any problems. Definitely an original and cool idea.
