Many, many, MANY years ago (about 30 - 35) one of the first video games I ever played was a game about hunting sharks. The cab had a harpoon like gun attached, and if you hit the shark, a small trail of blood would appear.
I played that thing nearly every time I was in the Gold Mine arcade in Northlake Mall, Tucker GA. Does anybody else recall seeing it / remembers the name of it? I've tried to tell my wife about it but to little avail.

I had heard that the Great White Poker was what Seph's mom called Chad.
I figured it had a little to do with the subject of the thread....ok, VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY little....so I'd give it a shot ;D
Bet your wife doesn't find THAT joke of mine funny :P

I think the game was call Ass-Hat shark attack.

I think the game was call Ass-Hat shark attack.
I dunno why, but that struck me as the funniest thing I've read all day. I almost literally shat myself when I read that!
Oh, is this your imitation of Seph's "yoru momz" reply-to-everything day?

Too much information...

I almost literally shat myself when I read that!
Of course, we know from your other post that there's more involved here than comedy.

There were two versions of this game. One was called Sea Devil, I thought the other one was called something simple like Shark Hunter, but didn't find a pic of the cabinet.

Shark Hunter sounds familiar, but I didn't think the game description sounded right. Meh.

Thats not a video game though, is it?

That is correct, it's mechanical using lit slides. He's talking about 30 years ago, which puts it right when these types of mechanical shooters were out.
I remembered a page about these types of games, did a search and found it. I think this is your game RTSDaddy:

Here is a great page dedicated to all these mechanical oldies.

Wow, an orange cab.
Obviously envisioned by an extremely cool individual.

Well, since we can't determine if they're cool or not, we at least can surmise that it was envisioned by an Aussie. And everyone knows they're not cool. ESPECIALLY the ones who have a silent 7 in their name. :P

LMAO I love how everything has some hidden comedy to it :D Ass-hat, almost shat... I cant stop laughing!!!!

Nice going TOK...that's the one! Man, I miss that game. I hated sharks as a kid, think that's why I enjoyed it....though it was kinda wierd seeing it thrash around like that, harpoon sticking out of it.
Maybe that's why to this day I dream of being attacked by animals. I haven't had a pleasant dream in months to really speak of....but that's another topic (getting into TMI probably).
Anyway, thanks again!
