Post by: Stingray on October 13, 2005, 11:32:15 am: I saw a Discovery Channel show on this species not long ago.It was actually quite interesting. 'Hobbit' is just the nickname that they gave to the species, no one is trying to prove that the species from LotR actually existed. You should watch it if they air it again.

Post by: ChadTower on October 13, 2005, 11:46:43 am: As a standalone work, decent. The whole Yuuzhan Vong invasion concept, though, really breathed tons of new life into the series of novels. It was getting pretty stale before that.

I used to be able to say I've read them all, but they come out faster than I can finish them. I'd say I've read about 60 of them now, a few of them multiple times.

of the small amout of food there is in the forests so the smaller the animal the better it will survive,i think this is what they was saying about the mini human. :o very good program i could watch it again.

Last time I went to San Francisco zoo. There was a pack of monkeys that all started whacking it at the same time. Of course my wife didn't think it was very funny when I told her they were doing it in her honor. Later that day the hippos which are visible under water were bumpin uglies. It was a very disturbing day; but at the end I was laughing so hard it hurt.
