Title: my games dont have sound in mame

hi guys
im going through my games in mame and they dont seem to have any sound ive just tried space invaders and the only sound there is is when the red space ship at the top goes by?? any ideas

some games require sound SAMPLES like Space Invaders. You need to get the INVADERS.ZIp sample file from the official site and while you're at it, take a look at all the list of games that require sample or just DOWNLOAD ALL of them and shove it in the SAMPLE DIR.
