Title: how to get xarcade controls to work in mala

hi guys
ive got everything finished its all up and running in my cocktail cabinet, im using the BYO kit for my controls, and mala as my front end, but when i select XARCADE in mala for the controls they dont work, i tried them in MAME32 and selected XARCADE and the controls work great, but not in mala, so its something in mala,any ideas guys, all help much appreciated..... ???

someone must know how to get the BYO KIT controls working in mala  ???
