Title: ACT LABS GUNS - Which one?!
Post by: Jellyman_4eva on October 08, 2005, 05:09:15 am
Hi

I have a bit of a quandry going on. I have a large CRT multisync monitor, which is connected to two systems via  a KVM. One system has a Arcade VGA and runs the monitor at 15KHz, whereas the other has a Nvidia 6600 and runs it at 31Khz and above.

I would like a gun which is compatible with both of these boxes, and was not sure whether it would be the ACT Labs PC version or the TV version (because I am running it at a PC rate on the Nvidia and a TV rate on the Arcade VGA).

I got the impression from their website that the only difference between the two units was the connection box, one had VGA and the other had S-Video... is this true, or are the actual specifications different?!

I believe the vga version is what you need.  I don't work for Act-Labs tech support, though, so don't take my advice as the gospel.
