Title: Ultimarc trackball CP template
Post by: DemonBrew on October 07, 2005, 03:50:36 pm
I have an Ultimarc 2.25" trackball and mounting plate. I can't seem to find a cutout template for it for my CP design. I see plenty of 3" templates, but no 2.25".

It didn't come with any template. And, the diagrams (http://ultimarc.com/controldiags.html)  don't really help me.

Anybody know where I can find them? Or some other template that would work?

You dont really need a template if you are using the mounting plate, you just cut a huge whole the size of the whole thing, put the mouting plate in, then just screw the trackball to the mounting plate from the bottom.

sorry if  I'm missing something.... but isn't this the cutout you want?

The left dimensions are the top of the plate (good if you're planning on sinking the plate level with the rest of the top of the CP).

The right dimensions are what is recommended you cutout (124 mm x 124 mm square), plus the drill holes to hold the plate.

Oh, and everything is centered to each other.

I guess I missed that. Plus, I'm being overly cautious. I was looking for something for my Photoshop image I'm working on for both cutout and for CP artwork. This will work, thanks!

If you can get your hands on Visio, this might help...
