Title: cp too big

hey all i have got a cp that is 29 inches length and 16 inches wide the thing is is that my cab is now going to be smaller abit bigger than a mini cab but my cp has to be the same size anyone else had this? and also what did you do to resolve it? i dont want it looking too odd and no i cant cut my cp down lol

Make two or three swappable panels instead of trying to cram everything on one.

its menna be 2 playerwhats the smallest it can go without having to touch eachothers buttons?

If you want 2 players side by side then DON'T BUILD A MINI CAB.

That would seem pretty common sense to me. The point of a mini is to save space, but you're not saving space if you have a big wide control panel AND you need room for two people standing side by side.

At the most I think you could have 2 joys and 3 buttons per player and keep the panel fairly narrow.

My NEO-GEO MVS is a factory two player cab. It's 24 inches wide with two 8-ways that have four buttons each. It's not in any way crowded when two players play it.

my cp is 27 5/8" by 12" i have 7 player buttons for each player and 1 start 1 coin 2 start and 2 coin, plus the power button to pc. i have room for 2 ppl to play with out bumping each other and to mount a steering wheel for when playing racing games.

I think my Bally/Midway Power Drive control panel is like 28 inches wide and that was originally 3 player! I have 2 sticks/6 buttons and a 3" trackball and there is still plenty of room for 2 players.

Mines 24" wide too...just about right for 2 players imo.
