I've got a hundred tokens now and a couple hundred more coming. So far, I've been storing them on my CPO in a cup from Bob Roberts. I saw the coin mech idea but that is way over the top for my office/game room. Any good ideas out there?

Ok, I thought you meant those little 4" long tracks of extruded aluminum you used to find screwed to CPs to line up your quarters on for a quick continue.

How about something like this?

Yeah, it would fit right next to my slide rule and I could tatoo a big L on my forehead.
-
What about an antique parlor type ashtray stand? You can find them in many styles that would match your office/game room.
-
I have an uncle who can pull them from behind your ear whenever you need a new one.

get a Rowe dispenser...i've been thinking about it but they cost over 500 bucks.

If you've just got a few hundred, you might want to consider using the novelty token holders I recently bought, basically single plastic spring-loaded tubes with a belt clip.
You slide a token out of the top, and they hold about 50 tokens. I found them on eBay, and bought a couple of dozen. Gave out a bunch filled with tokens when I took my son and his friends to Chuck E Cheese for his birthday.
For my "main stash" of tokens (about 5,000 at last count) I've got a large fishbowl in my gameroom with a sign over it that says "Tokens Here".
The setup works pretty well, but I am thinking about modding a Pachislo token hopper (about $100 from Stealth Amusements) and turning it into a "token dispenser" that I can put a cup in, push a button, and fill it with tokens.
It'll have to wait until I have time to tinker once again, but it's on my (very long) "Hobby To-Do" list...

Kevin,
Didn't see anything on ebay under token dispenser. Do you have a link or anything to who you bought them from? Thanks.
-
I just checked eBay last night, and none listed - they're usually listed under "Token Holder", and seem to show up every few weeks.
Here's a picture of what they look like:

I got them from "deeznovelties" on eBay.

someone knocked the head off of your pezz dispenser.

This is pretty high tech so stop me if I go over anybody's head. I keep mine in a bowl.

Well, I guess my fish bowl is a "Bowl Mark II" edition, then - they keep improving bowl technology, you know...

I think he was talking about a change machine not a coin mech. There was a recent thread about them last week, or maybe the week before.

I was referring to a change machine. If I had a separate room filled with machines and pins that would be one thing but a combination office/Mame room a change machine doesn't exactly fit. Besides I've gone over my hobby budget for the next decade so I'm looking for some low tech answers.
Anyone seen any plastic cups with arcade themes on the sides. Checked a couple of different sites such as arcade tee's but they don't have anything like that.

***link removed due to overwhelming popular demand - search google images for coind dispenser. look for old cash register add ons***
There must be tons of these old coin dispensers around.
