some pictures from the test run of my desktop controller.
go to the tread small competition if you want to se the inside (More or less ;) )
this time i borrowed a camera from work. The diffrence in brightness makes it
hard to take pictures of both images on the same time, it looks better in real life.

the tv in the bottom of the pictures are my 32" widescreen tv.
The thing above the tv in the lower picture is the center channel
in the sorround system its more annoying when you watch movies since the subtitles are placed on it.

an old Ask projector. You can see the composit video and svideo cables
no vga since ask wants 200$ for the cable.

Does the room need to be dark in order to see the projection well. I must say it would be awesome to play games on a very hug screen. I like it.
*edit* just saw that on the first two pics the "INSERT COIN" on the projector is the same width as the wide screen tv. I had thought my 27" TV was going to be fairly big but not anymore.

Great Big Picture! Makes the 32 inch TV look small.
Is there any info on the port for vga maybe you could rig one up or does the $200 cable have some electronics associated with it?

cdbrown:
since its an old projector the room has to be complety dark for the picture to look god. If i rember correctly a 32" widescreen is about 27" when running 4:3
you see the black borders on the second pictures.
BobA:
i have the pinout the only diffrence is that its a 15 pin Dsub instead of a 15 pin HDsub. But as it has been used for watching movies so far i havent tried to solder a cable.

A friend of mine and I played Shinobi on the 100" screen at his house. He is using my projector because I don't have room for it. I got his 27" nec monitor in return. Works well. Maybe sometime I will get pictures. It is fun.
