He can take as long as he wants on the review as long as I win either the light up joysticks or the cocktail cab.  ;)

Okay, I've been trying not to post any more news about the trackball roundup review since it's taken, what...a year? Too long, no matter what the reasons.

I've been extremely busy the last few months, and it's been a struggle to get reviews out the door, especially a big one like the roundup. I don't want to make any more promises about when it'll be done, but I am working on it. Honest.

I'm starting to truly hate roundup reviews, since it's such a big chunk of work and quite honestly it makes it very hard to get the review out in a timely manner.

I can give you one quick "mini-summary": buy the Happs - they're worth every penny.

Okay Kev,thanks for the reply but please don't give up doing your informative and funny reviews.Where else would we be able to find things working in the flesh.Maybe you could charge a small subscription fee for the review section or ask for donations.I would be willing to pay a small fee as it saves in the long run. What do others think?

                                       LONG LIVE KEV'S REVIEWS.

I really don't want to charge subscriptions or take donations: it just feels like I'd be "mooching" off of fellow enthusiasts, and that doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

I also don't feel right selling off review units for cash, which is why I originally started the site giveaways (now, of course, the contests have gotten a lot bigger than just what I have sitting around in my workshop!)

The ads on the site provide me with enough fundage to pay for the site and buy review items, plus a little extra spending cash (I just saved up enough after two years to buy the Twilight Zone pinball machine that I mentioned in the site news yesterday)

If you want to say thanks, that's great, and feel free to click an ad or two - I won't complain. ;)

Does anyone know if this review ever got posted?   I am looking for trackball information and I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere?!?

I don't have experience with any other trackball, but I know my HAPP ball works perfectly.  I bought the clear red one.  We lit it with a car tailight LED assemply.  Why?  Because the round set of 7 (???) LEDs fit *PERFECTLY* in the hole in the trackball case below the ball.  It's 12V because it's for a car!  It's so dang bright that we actually use the low setting!

If you can afford it, buy the Happ 3" trackball.  If you can't, the Betson Imperial is a worthy cheaper alternative.

My Betson works great for what little use it gets.

I found a new Happ 3" with USB interface that comes with mounting plate for $82.95.   I decided to get it...

Next is my spinner decision....decisions decisions...
