I'm installing a cap kit on the xm-2001, and in the parts list it lists C514 as 100uf, 16V - the cap on the board, however is 100uf at 35V.
It looks as though this cap has been replaced before, shiny solder and some scorching.. Maybe a tech just used whats available?
I'm leery about replacing a cap with a lower rated value, so I guess I'll leave it unless someone tells me it's OK before I finish this kit. The monitor was working fine, this is just some preventative care whilst it's out of the cabinet..
- edit - same story/values for c609 - kit provides 100uf, 16v, board has 35v

If the parts list with the kit says 16 volts and what is in the monitor is 35 volts then those caps on the monitor must have been replaced before. Use what the kit provides.
