Title: Input on My First Mame Control Panel Design.
Post by: jopenner on October 02, 2005, 11:05:38 am
Hi,

Here is my first shot at designing a control panel design.  The buttons layer has been left in to illustrate what the actual panel will look like when it is finished.
Thanks goes to Craig Pilkington for his assistance and original arcade layout.  Thanks also goes to the creators of the "Atomic" logo (Mitch "Pixelhugger")and "Mame Inside" logo (Unknown).
Comments would be welcome.  This was a great introduction to using Adobe Photoshop.  Is this the program everyone uses or should I look at using Adobe Illlustrator instead?
Thanks in advance for your input.

John

Looking good. You might wanna add some white border around the mame logo or glow effect so it stands out and maybe a better background instead of flat black :)

Thanks for your input.  What can you suggest for a background rather than the black?
Thanks.

Thanks all.  I have made some minor changes (I love the dark theme) and have sent the final file off the Mame Marquees.
Cheers.
