Title: Galaga/Ms. Pac-Man reunion easter egg???
Post by: missioncontrol on October 01, 2005, 09:42:24 pm: Found this on a dedicated pac-man website, I don't know if it's true or not, but thought I'd pass it along.

Original Pac-Man Game Hidden In Galaga/Ms. Pac-Man Reunion Game!

If this is true it could be one of the coolest easter egg of all time.

- Insert coin(s) into machine
- At the "press start button" screen, at which you can choose either Ms. Pac-Man or Galaga, move the joystick in the following pattern: up, up, up, down, down, down, left, right, left, right, left. You'll hear a sound, and the Ms. Pac-Man character on the screen will change color. Then hit the Ms. Pac-Man start button and (drum roll...) YOU WILL BE PLAYING PAC-MAN.

I have a PAC-MAN dedicated and would like

to check out the website.

I did this EASTER EGG trick on a MS. PAC / GALAGA today at the WAL-MART arcade

in my town.

And it works. I had to try it 2 or 3 times to get it to work.

But it does.

The HIGH SCORE was 0 and i racked up about 59,000

I put another quarter in and tried the EASTER EGG again to see if it would save

my HIGH SCORE and it did !

Then they came out with another version that has PACMAN in the MENU, so not hiding anymore, bummer for those who bought the first version, they must do the joy combo to play Pac.
