So, I'm building a Mame Cab (see my sig.) and I am going to be using an arcade monitor. There are a few questions I have. Since my pc does not have AGP an ArcadeVGA is out of the picture.
- Without an ArcadeVGA will booting up the computer before switching display modes damage the monitor?
- I really like MameWah as a front end. If I use PowerStrip+MameWah+AdvanceMame, would this be an optimal solution?
- Anything else I should know before I jump headlong into hooking this thing up to my pc?
Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

Then there is the obligatory response "use a JPAC" and you won't have to worry about it (the JPAC will block signals that are out of range).
