Are you ordering from Ponyboy? He has the best deal in town! What are the list prices of each part you are buying?

Also, just for curiosity, why do you randomly place lol in your sentences? I just lol don't get it...

I think we want to see the auction so we can see the parts he is selling. There are some knock-offs out there that aren't very good, they're cheap and break, not that were sayig that is the case with what you are buying though.....

The funny thing is, everywhere that he put "lol" is where he should have put a period and start a new sentence. Now that you've made him stop using "lol" his posts are one big paragraph with no periods.
 ;D

A lot!!! Mole, we aren't picking on you but try to type better. Note the use of the period. It comes in real handy when you want to end a thought and start a new one.

(Just teasing...)  ;)

I spent at least that on my CP, I have 2 8 way joysticks, a tornado spinner, a 3" HAPPS trackball, about 14 buttons, CPO overlay... I just bought a nother set of Leaf joysticks that will be putting on soon. I think all told I[m over at least 300.00. So I think what you have is about right...

What about the endcoder? You will need one of those unless you are going to hack a keyboard. And I hope those trackballs are USB, otherwise you'll need an Opti-Pac. That will add at least another $100  to the order...

Watch out though.....this hobby has a way of sucking up money...

Not sure why you're asking if you need an Opti-Pac for the Trackballs. If they are USB, you will not need one. If they aren't, then you'll need one. And you're in Luck, Ultimarc are in your country...

And BTW, good use of punctuation there...  ;)

Hmm, PS2 eh... You want two right? Do you have two PS/2 ports on your computer? You may need to buy a Ps/2 to USB adapter to connect two trackballs to your computer. Otherwise, if that doesn';t work, you may have to strip the wires and connect it to the Opti-Pac.

I'm prretty sure there exiss a PS/2 to USB adapater, but can't commen whether the computer would see both trackballs or not...

ok all i have done alittle research on the ultimarc site and am i correct in thinking this
in this pic http://www.ultimarc.com/ipac1.html the pic at the top of the ipac board the left of the board is player1 and the right is player 2 and i would wire the analogue sticks to the following 1rght 1left 1up 1down to players 1 analogue stick and the same for player 2 on the other side and also wire the buttons the same etc?
then i will need to get one of these http://www.ultimarc.com/optipac1.html the pic at the top of the ipac board the left of the board is player1 and the right is player 2 and i would wire the analogue sticks to the following 1rght 1left 1up 1down to players 1 analogue stick and the same for player 2 on the other side and also wire the buttons the same etc?
then i connect the ipac to the xbox using one of these
http://www.ultimarc.com/xba.html ?

thats one of my recent posts the 3 links are what i will need i think you see im trying to get it to work on my xbox (sorry for the lols in the previous post)

Yeah, I think you got it. Wire the Joysticks and buttons to the I-PAC, and wire the Trackballs to the Opti-Pac. BUT...you will need to cut off the PS/2 connectors off the trackballs if you want to use the OPTI-PAC.

Like I said, I am not sure if you need the Opti-Pac, if you can plug both trackballs into the PS/2 and USB interfaces.

You'd be best to post this question in the Main forum before you purchase the trackballs. That would be my advice to make sure you don't buy something you cannot use.

Good Luck!
