Title: gauntlet I and II

eBay Link (http://cgi.ebay.com/Gauntlet-1-2-Dual-Boot-PCB-WORKING_W0QQitemZ6212791004QQcategoryZ13718QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Anyone know how to do that, that is an ugly looking hack.

Instructions there.  I've been contemplating it for my Gauntlet I, but don't feel like having to buy a new board if I fry the existing one.

Same page - the pause switch is a winner of an idea.  99 levels just takes too long for one sitting.

Just chip stacking, it looks like.  Replace all proms with new ones, twice the size, and add a switch to one of the address pins so the machine is either reading the top half or bottom half of each chip (dummied down explanation).  It's a pretty old hack.
