I am trying to configure Daphne and have run into a couple of roadblocks. The biggest one being that DVD2Daph can't seem to find my dvd drive and therefore can't see the Dragon's Lair dvd. I have the older dvd, not the 20th Anniversary one. Is that an issue? It sounds like Daphne is set up to take that 20th Anniv dvd pretty easily. I tried manually copying the contents of the dvd, but it sounds like DVD2Daph is looking for something else. I am running Windows 2000 and my dvd drive is drive d: and cd-rom drive is drive e:. Is there something else I need or do I just need to get the 20th Anniv dvd?
Any help would be awesome, it's driving me nuts.

I have had the same problem in fact im still trying to get it to work right, you have to man. change each rom & point it to the file you upload your rom to, the default is d: but if you load them to your c: you have to point each program to that rom in the configure menu
thanks

I use the 20th Century DVD and it works flawlessly with DVD2Daph. I would say that it is worth ordering from Digital leisure. It certainly is an outstanding collectors item to have lying around as well.

Sorry I can't help with your specific DVD2Daph problem, but I will second the suggestion to obtain the 20th Anniversary DVD set. I got mine from eBay for somewhere around $30. Well worth it I think.
I suppose this must be obvious, but Dragon's Lair plays much better through Daphne on my MAME cabinet than it does in my DVD player directly from the 20th Anniversary DVD.
Space Ace is equally as good.

You can pull the folders with all the video clips to your hard drive
and then use dvd2daphne. Thats what I do. I dont run dvd2daph
right from the DVD-Rom.
Try it.
