Title: ctrlr files question...
Post by: hulkster on September 26, 2005, 10:46:16 am
so im getting ready to update my mame to include some new games that i want to play, but as of right now, im not using ctrlr files and im dreading having to input the controls into all the games i play a lot again.  ive tried to understand them, but apparently im too dumb....so would someone be willing to send me their ctrlr files so i can just paste them into my dir.?  i have a 4 player cp with a trackball.  anyone wanna help a brotha out?

Just edit the hotrodse one with your key mappings and re-save as a new ctrlr file.  Most people's controls will be different to yours so it is pointless you having someone else's ctrlr file...

If you're using ctrlr.ini files from MAME 0.60 to .084, just get Howard Casto's INI to XML controller converter from www.oscarcontrols.com/lazarus.
