I'm using Mamewah v 1.60 and have the Ambient Arcade sounds playing while browsing the game list. However now I'd like to have the Ambient Arcade sounds play while I'm playing the games too.
I searched the boards, but didn't find a match. Does anyone know how to make this happen?
Thanks!

I was lookin for the same thing and I dont believe Mamewah does that, however emulaxian 3d frontend does that, at least in the older versions!

Do some research.... this type of thing has been gone over several times in the forums.
Long story short, we all dropped support for it because it eats up resources and all-in-all it's a bad idea anyway.

Actually for once I have to disagree with HC... :o ;)
I only have pre 90 games on my cab. And for those resources are more thne enough. Therefore I still use this feature... :)

FTMP I'm doing the same, only I'd like to use it with Mamewah.

Of course the easiest way is to burn it to CD and stick a cheap Discman and a second set of powered speakers in your cab. Put the CD player on repeat, hit play, and tada! Ambient sounds all the time. When your done playing just turn off the CD player and/or speakers or just turn the volume all the way down.

Well, the easiest thing seems to be adding a shortcut to the ambient sound file and dropping it in my startup folder. The downside to this is I can't change the volume of the loop while in Mamewah, just the volume of the games...I'll play with it like this for a while and see how I like it. ;D

Check my post, its even easier, and you have volume control, and it doesn't use any CPU time. The best solution isn't always a software one.

I didn't want to use an external audio device for this.
