There's no reason to buy anything.  Just use DVDShrink.

http://dvdshrink.org (http://dvdshrink.org)

100% free and works perfectly.  It's the only thing I ever use.

Plus, get DVD Decrypter, for those disks it can't handle. (I have only run up against 3 so far...)

Good suggestion.  I have run across at least 1 disc (Kung Fu Hustle) that needed to be run through DVD Decrypter before burning.  DVD Decrypter is also free.

DVD Shrink is not burning software. It can burn automatically through a Nero plugin or automatically start up DVD Decrypter after creating an ISO.

DVD Shrink + DVD Decrypter is an excellent combination; you are not likely to do any better by spending money on software. Unfortunately, neither of them are being developed anymore. The author of DVD Shrink went to officially work for Nero (Recode); which pretty much confirmed what everyone already knew or suspected; i.e. Shrink was a free public test beta for Nero Recode all along; and Macrovision (I believe?) flexed its muscle in LightningUK's direction and threatened with legal action; he canned DVD Decrypter; he can't even so much as answer questions about the program on forums.

For the time being, both programs still work on 99% of everything out there, though you may have trouble with Sony's "Arrcos" protection, for which there are other solutions out there.

thats one way of getting RID of your FREE opponents. Nero probably told him to stop making his great FREE software if he want to work for them. Hey nothing wrong making lots of $$$$.  :o

actually, that makes sense.  Which mame dev works on Virtual PC, or use to work on Virtual PC.  He did that low level stuff all the time.

Hi,

I use DVD Shrink and DVD Encrypter and love them both.
You can't beat the price neither.
Burn responsibly

Not a dvd but the SIMS cd's have been a pain in my side for years.
I have bought the sims deluxe 3 times. kids have worn it out.
I have went through over 100 cd's trying to get a working copy.
every thing I was told to do would not work. YES I did get a light on burner. >:(
Virtual DAENON did it for me,.
