Well I have started another Street Fighter Character, this time Chun-li for the other side of my Cab.
I have done the Hair and the Hair Bun Thingy she wears...
-
Great stuff. No SF-themed cab is complete without Chun Li on it ;D
-
Yes I have to Agree Felsir that Chun Li was a must on my Cab...
Another Update, this time her Face...
-
Another Small Update...
-
I checked the Falcoon image*, and I must say, it is not one of the easier images.
Looking great so far!
*) since I learned your other images were by Falcoon, I searched the net and build myself a nice library of images ;-)

Yes this the hardest vector I have done to date and keep going back and tweaking different parts that I think look wrong...hopefully in the end I can do it justice.
Falcoon is a great artist, he has a few pictures to his name...
Small Update including some tweaks...
-
Another update for Chun Li, this one took me a while as there are a lot of small parts that needed to be traced and shaded correctly...
-
man...you are QUICK very nice so far ! :o
-
Can you post a thumbnail of your source image?
-
you are doing some excellent work there. I really want to learn how to vectorize soon... just need to find some spare time.
-
Will she be getting another finger on that hand? Damn fine job I must say. You have some serious talent.

Thanks Snaake, this one is actually taking me longer than usual as it has some complex stuff the vector.

Its not really that hard to vector it just takes some time and an eye for detail if you are tracing a piece of art...

Yes it does appear she needs another finger but that is how Falcoon originally did the sketch so I will not fix it unless I decide to get adventuress with my vectoring :D
Another Small update, this time just the left leg and hand...
-
another update...
-
yet another update as I had some time on my hands...
-
Looking very, very good!

Janey you will need a vector program to start with something like Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand (this is what I use), Microsoft Visio, plus their are some free or shareware vector programs around I believe, some one else may have some thoughts on this...
Second get Frostillicus Vector Tutorial from here: http://www.localarcade.com/arcade_art/details.php?image_id=223 it a great start for someone who has not vectored before and lastly I would say ask questions in this forums everyone is willing to help out if you get stuck...
-
Finished one of her boots...
-
Great job, I really like the shading. Sometimes I'm stuck because Visio only does simple predefined shade patterns.
@janey: Take a look at the FAQ there are links to various topics about software, techniques etc. Click here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42659.0) to open the FAQ.
