Title: Joystick maintenance?

Hi

My cab has a couple of Happ Competition joysticks.  It's been built and "in production" for about 10 months now.  I've noticed that the joysticks seem to have lost some responsiveness.  We play Robotron quite a bit, so these joysticks get quite a workout.  Is there any routine maintenance I should do on these?  Is this kind of wear and tear to be expected?

Nothing?  No one has any tips or similar stories?  Just wondering if I need to use some graphite, replace the switches, etc.

I've heard of leaf switches needing adjustment/maintenance, but never microswitch based joysticks.  What's the responsiveness issue?  Is your spring feeling worn out or is a microswitch failing.  I have the comps in my standalone CP and haven't seen any decline in the last half year or so.  I have friends who push the joysticks so hard that the whole heavy thing scoots across the desk. 

If you have responsiveness issues after ten months of home use, I would be concerned.  Those joysticks are meant to see extreme abuse for quite a while in a commercial arcade. :)

So, be a little more specific and maybe the hardware gurus will be able to solve your problem.
