Yeah me. My boy was doing a report on computers and I pulled out my C-64 and hooked it up. Drive wasn't working right so I checked for one on EBay and bid on one.

got it for $5   ;D

Not sure why that popped into my head. 10 points for MC for getting out the C64 though.

I have a bunch of C64 games sitting on a shelf in my basement.  Picked them up at a yardsale, mostly complete RPGs.  Not sure why I bought them.

I should go back to consoles.  They usually work, and when they break, the PCB is like two caps, a VR, and a twinkie.  Very simple to fix.

Twinkies will probably last longer than most of my consoles anyway. I mean they're only made of plastic, which is much more biodegradable.

....boy, I've been away a couple of day from the forums and I've been missing classic threads like this one. If only I can bottle up these little bits of love and keep 'em on my desk for rainydays.

Uh.....does anyone know how many members it takes to change a light bulb?...have you seen this?....have you heard this?......

i love my c64 i was playing wizrd of wor on the wall it was beautiful  :'( so beautiful

Then i had to get a fan for the homemade projector cause i forgot and it got hot lol
