Post by: JuddWack on January 11, 2003, 01:10:38 am
Does anyone know of any hardwareshops that sell tamperproof wrenches?  I just aquired a Hang-on game and I am itching to take it apart but I cant.

You may have luck at hardware stores, but you can also pick them up cheap from Bob Roberts & eBay.

What type of tamper resistant screws are you working with (torx, hex, etc.)?

Is this what you're looking for?

I picked one up from Bob Roberts.  It's the first item listed on the following page, it has come in real handy:

Most auto parts stores will stock security or tamper resistant Torx bits.  They're used a lot in carbuerators from what I hear.

When I was shopping around, I checked several hardware stores (including big chains like Ace, Home Depot and Lowes) and none of them had them.  AutoZone was where I evetually got mine.

T20 is the size most often used in cabinets.
